This is the first time they've both been in the cat tree since they were fully grown... and it's not hard to see why: they're too big for them both to remain in there comfortably!
And of course, a fight commenced within about 30 seconds of this photo.

Did they get up there on their own or was there some human-assistance?
I had nothing to do with it.
...Actually, it was Erik's idea. LC was slumbering away when Erik jumped up there and proceeded to nip at him. I shushed him and they lay there for a little while, pretending to sleep. Erik then succeeded in being annoying enough that LC finally tore out of the room and went to keep the Roommate company.
THat picture really is annoying. The poor cattree is overflowing with kitties.
Eric totally looks like he's nudging learned claw away with his behind, but his look says "what are you talking about, I am not doing anything... prrr." Naughty.
