The cats like the new couch

They like it so much, they're preferring to sleep on it rather than my bed this evening.  The hope is that they won't like it too much and destroy it in the process.

Everything I Needed to Know I Learned from Erik the Red

For reasons known only to himself, Erik pooped on the new roommate's bed over the weekend.  Really, Erik, WTF??  He's never done this before, so I don't know what's going on in his tiny pea brain, but I'd kind of like the roomie to stick around and Erik pooping on the bed is NOT HELPFUL!  Old roommate (who has just moved in with her boyfriend) was inspired to write the following in response:

I just keep watching this over and over and snorting out loud. Did I mention I'm in the library? And that I'm getting some pretty confused looks? I have a feeling my fellow scholars know I'm not actually reading about Victorian art...
